Physical Development
We understand the importance of developing gross motor skills such as hand-eye coordination, balance, and overall body awareness. Children have ample outdoor play time and are encouraged to explore games like ring toss, basketball and ABC bowling. Our children enjoy a weekly dance class and MyGym as well.

What We Eat
We emphasize the importance of healthy eating habits and taking care of our bodies. We offer well-balanced meals and encourage parents not participating in our hot lunch program to do the same. As a reduced sugar school, we kindly ask parents to get creative and provide alternatives to cakes and cupcakes for birthday celebrations. We are more than happy to recommend and brainstorm options with you.
We offer two daily snacks (am/pm) and a hot lunch program that parents can choose to opt-in to. We receive weekly deliveries of fresh fruit and vegetables and cook all of our own food with the exception of Pizza Fridays. Children are always welcome to bring their own food from home as well.
Allergies are taken into consideration on a child to child basis. A typical days menu is, cereal and milk in the morning, cheese quesadilla, rice and beans and milk for lunch, and carrot and celery sticks and orange juice in the afternoon.

What is the daily schedule like at the preschool?
Our days are well balanced between structured teacher-led activities and free choice child-led play and social time. The early morning hours between 6:30 am to 9:00 am are completely devoted to indoor and outdoor social play. From September through June our program begins at 9:00 am or 9:30 am, depending on age, with children participating in morning community circle time. This time offers invaluable class bonding.

We take allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. Before snack time, we collect information from parents about any allergies or restrictions. Snacks provided are carefully chosen to be safe for all children, and we avoid sharing food to prevent cross-contamination.
